The summer holidays are here which means plenty of time for extracurricular activities and learning outside of the classroom! Our amazing Children’s University Learning Destinations in and around Sefton have lined up a whole host of brilliant activities for our students this summer.
Each week of the summer holidays, we’ll be sharing a little glimpse of what’s on, so keep your eyes on our social and don’t forget to tag us in any of your fantastic photos!
Matilda Jr Summer School
WHO: Zanobini Academy of Performing Arts
WHERE: Christ the Kind Catholic High School in Southport
WHEN: Monday 04th August – Friday 08th August 2025
WHAT: Matilda Jr Summer School Week! Students will have the opportunity to sing, dance, act, make friends, have fun and get to perform the show MATILDA at the end of the week with costume, lighting, sound, set, and props!

Summer Ninja Academy

Gymnastics, Dance, and Ninja Activities
WHO: Gymfinity Kids
WHERE: Various locations across the North West
WHEN: Classes provided every day, visit website to enquire
WHAT: Gymnastics, dance and ninja across the North West in various locations. We also provide a national curriculum programme.

Dance and Acro Classes
WHO: Bluebell Dance Studios
WHERE: Bluebell Studios, Wavertree, Liverpool
WHEN: We stay open during summer holiday and half terms. We also have adance camp running for children aged 4-7 on 28th, 29th, and 31st July 9:30am – 2:30pm
WHAT: Dance classes for children aged 2 years upwards. We offer the following disciplines: Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Commercial, Musical Theatre (singing, acting), AcroStretch and Technique classes running Monday – Saturday. Each class runs for 45 minutes. All staff are fully qualified.
